SPLIT Croatia

Back in 2023, I had the pleasure of visiting the city of Split and ever since I have wanted to add it to my collection of WORLDSCAPES. The second biggest city in Croatia, the city originated as a palace and settlement of Emperor Diocletian at the turn of the 4th century AD. You can still see the old city walls and some of the Palace today. I combined this history with the picturesque sea views and the surrounding city to create this work.
